177 viewsI started gluing between the wire ties. I was lucky and did not get any drips to the inside. It looks like a boat now and my family actually believes me. Everyone who has actually seen the boat have commented on how nice the lines are!

174 viewsAnother layer of primer went down after the chicken pox above were smoothed over. Then...final color! The paint is a two-part epoxy paint (epifanes polyurethane). The blue wasn't dark enough, so I went with 2 cans of blue and 1 black.

We managed to get Cricket out of the living room to the car and tied her to the rack. We had to add some 2x4s to the rack so it would be wide enough. Finally we made it to the Lake (Lake Ontario)
