Rob Roy, where to put seat and yoke?

I am building a Rob Roy canoe and have a question about seat placement and carrying yoke. Seems to me the I would want to be sitting pretty much the same palce as where the carrying yoke should go! A little stumped here!

Any ideas, suggetions or experiences?
