For My Wife

I want to build a kayak for my wife. I haven't built a strip boat before but am confident I won't have any trouble. She is 5'4'' tall and 140 pounds. I would like to build either the guilomot or the guilomot play. She is inexperienced and am wondering which boat would be better for her. We have mostly medium sized lakes to use it on but the great lakes are close for when she gets more experienced. Any suggestions of other designs would be helpful if neither one of these are suitable

I think either design will work. The only suggestion I have would be the Great Auk or the Bear Mountain Resolute. They are beamier, so will be more stable, and will carry more load, but will not be as easy to paddle.
