Two years ago I purchased a Necky recreational Kayak for my daughter to use up at our lake. Now I would like to build her a cedar strip boat. I need help selecting a model. I have read so much information and so many opinions that I'm getting confused now!
The kayak will only be used on a quiet lake, usually calm and for a few hours a day. My daughter is only 14 (110 lbs) but I would like the boat to also accomodate a good sized adult such as myself (190 lbs) as well. That way if her interests change over time, I can still use the boat.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Can anyone recommend a model from experience? Your thoughts on this are much appreciated.
