I just finished building a small boat. I coated the hull with polyester resin but I made a bad mistake. I only added 1/2 of the required hardner to the resin. Will it ever harden? It is still tacky after 36 hours. How can I fix it?

hi Gary, I would give it a week or so and see what happens before I'd do anything. After a week if it is still cured the only solution is to strip it all off and start over (ugh!) Polyester resin is not good for boat building anyway as it tens to delaminate. Epoxy such as West Systems or East Systems od MAS are much better suited for boat building.
just my 2 cents.
