Me again. I have a 1975 National tri-hull I'm restoring. What would be an acceptable and then the best paint/coating to use on the fiberglass exterior of my boat? Some say polyurethane (four coats with two clear on top) is totally acceptable. I would think gelcoat (which I nothing about, either properties or application) would be best as all builders (that I've talked to) sing its praises.
