St. Lawrence skiff restoration

I am restoring an 1890 skiff and need to replace some cedar lapstrake around the keel. Any ideas on where to purchase materials. And what do you think is the best paint for this old wood?

The boat was probably built with Eastern White Cedar. We can supply this by the plank or cut to size.
We also carry an excellent alkyd paint from Sikkens called Super Gloss. Good flexibility and high gloss.
