I want to mill out some stripping on my sawmill for resale. I am wondering what the most popular sizes and woods are? I can get red cedar, but it's never clear which I don't think would matter anyway once the epoxy is applied. I can also get cherry, walnut, osage, ash and about any other native hardwood anybody can dream up. What can and cant be used? I don't want to waste good logs cutting them into stripping to find that nobody wants that spicies.

You might get sales on the red cedar, but it is important that it be clear. You might get some sales on the hardwoods -- they are sometimes used as decorative strips.
