glueing

I`m useing polyester resin with wax,what
filler or thickener should I use with it,to thicken it for bonding cedar to-gether,on my plank butts ,and general use glueing?

it is my understanding that using polyester resin for boat construction is asking for trouble due to it's inability to penetrate the wood properly and will delaminate.

Ditto!! Polyester as a wood glue does not work. Use epoxy and thicken with cabosil.
