I have an 18ft 6.5beam 1987 thundercraft bowrider. I want to enclose the helm and raise the guages and steering so it can be driven standing up. The cabin will have 6'2" headroom and dimensions of the cabin are 6.5'wide X 5'long and will be fully enclosed so it can be used rain or shine out in the bay. I want to keep the bow open. I want to use plywood and fiberglass and my question is how can I fiberglass to the exsiting gelcoat after I install the epoxied cabin. Is there a seamless procedure that i can use so it doesn't look like I tried to make a minivan out of a Honda Civic using plywood? ANY advice would be greatly appreciated. Ive never used fiberglass before. Am I asking for disaster???
Thanks alot.

Probably wont look like a mini van, more like a moving van. Besides you will add so much windage, it could be dangerous.
