In the 1980s "Popular Science" magazine had an article on building a
canoe out of 1/8" wood veneer strips. The veneer was cut into about 2"
to 4" wide strips. The strips than were placed on a cold frame at about
a 45-degree angle. The strips than were covered with expoxy cement. Than
a second layer of strips was placed over the first an the opposing
45-degree angle. The canoe was then covered with epoxy inside and out. I
would like the month and year the plans where published so I can build
the canoe.
Thank You,
