We recently purchased a used fibreglass boat with teak trim. When the previous owner refinished the teak (with Cetol) no care was taken in masking before brushing it on. As a result, there is Cetol on the gelcote. Is there a way to safely remove the Cetol form the gelcote with some sort of stripper?

Thanks.

Bottom Strip from Noah?s will not damage Gelcote, but will remove Cetol. You could also try Acetone. With both products you will have to buff the Gelcote to get the gloss back.
