Is there a problem with

using two different types of epoxy on the same project ? I'm restoring an old cedar strip boat, where I have used west systems for filling and fairing in the gouges and imperfections below the waterline.

Now I want to use mas epoxy for the glass cloth because I feel sensitive to the west system even with a full respirator on.

Will the two epoxies bond together without a problem? Remember the west system is just spot applied and the mas will be for wetting out the cloth and build layers.

No problem putting one brand over another as long as the one below is cured and sanded. If you still have a problem with the MAS regular hardeners they have a Low Tox that seems to work, feedback from our customers on it is excellent.
