    Sheer line

Having trouble finding where exactly the sheer line is supposed to be cut. I bought the pre-cut moulds, do I just go with the bottom of the moulds?

The sheer is the bottom of each station mould, but do not try to make your first strip follow the curve, unless your design has very little rise in the ends. Best to tack or clamp the first full length strip at the bottom of the middle station, then allow the strip to run straight and level to the stems. If you force the first strip to follow the sheer curve, you will have difficulty getting them to bend and lay down when you get to the waterline. The gap at the stems below the first strip can be filled with short strips later.

This video shows laying up the sheer strip with explanations (about half way through video).
