Fiberglass Strength

I am in the process of building a 13ft. rowing skiff with a 3.5ft beam. I am using the Stitch-n-Glue construction technique and have just finished adding the fillets to the inside of the boat. I am planning on applying fiberglass cloth (6oz) to the inside and outside. I am concerned because the boat seems very flimsy. My question is, How much will the application of fiberglass strengthen the boat?

Not to worry. The fiberglass will stiffen the boat somewhat, but it will probably still flex a little. By the time you get seats, gunwales, deck etc. on it will be fine.
