Seeking Special Material

Some years ago I came across some information about balsa sheets and strips that were lamanited with hardwood on each side. Very light and Very Strong. I seem to have lost my the data.
I was told this material is sometimes used in the boating industry for construction materials.

Would someone out there advise me where I might find this type material??

I understood it comes from Australia.

Duracore is end grain balsa between Luan Mahogany skins. Usually supplied in 8? strips and used as a core in composite construction. . Noah?s does not stock it, but can order in case quantities only.
