Plywood Marine or Wolmanized

I am replacing mush of the wood in the upholstery in my old power boat. I was a little shcoked on how much wood was needed and the cost. I wonder if marine plywood is really necessary when using it to making chairs, seats, etc for the interior uphostery or if wolmanized wood would be almost as good (I know it is a lot cheaper)

Treated lumber is great for boat repairs but it must be dry. Finding plywood that is three or four months old is never easy. New plywood is soaking wet with preservative and paint or anything else wont stick to it! You can always buy your material and wait!
