    Unhappy

I'm building a cedar strip/'glass canoe, and am in hte midst of sanding the epoxy after glassing. While sanding, I exposed the glass cloth, which the book (Canoecraft) says not to do. Unfortunately, it doesn't tell what to do when you Do goof up.... I was watching carefully while sanding, and as soon as the clth was exposed, I stopped. Now what do I do?

Not to panic. Just clean off dust with water, and put on 2 or 3 coats of epoxy, then sand again. The area where you sanded through may show some weave, but it will probably not be too noticeable.

Thanks! I was hoping it was that simple, but wasn't sure if there was anything else that needed to be done. Whew!
